Array-Aided CORS Network Ambiguity Resolution

چکیده
Array-aided precise point positioning (A-PPP) is a measurement concept that uses Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data, from multiple antennas in an array of known geometry, to realize the improved GNSS parameter estimation. In this contribution the ambiguity resolution benefits of A-PPP for antenna-array equipped CORS stations is explored. To demonstrate the performance of array-aided ambiguity resolution betweenstation, an 80 km baseline experiment, equipped with a 6-antenna array at each CORS station, was conducted. We formulate the underlying model, show how the array-data to be reduced and present numerical results on the ambiguity resolution performance. The results show that the use of antenna-arrays can significantly improve the CORS network ambiguity resolution.

GNSS antenna array-aided CORS ambiguity resolution
Array-aided precise point positioning is a measurement concept that uses GNSS data, frommultiple antennas in an array of knowngeometry, to realize improvedGNSS parameter estimation proposed by Teunissen (IEEE Trans Signal Process 60:2870–2881, 2012). In this contribution, the benefits of array-aided CORS ambiguity resolution are explored. The mathematical model is formulated to show how the pla...
متن کاملA theoretical study on the bottlenecks of GPS phase ambiguity resolution in a CORS RTK Network
Crucial to the performance of GPS Network RTK positioning is that a user receives and applies correction information from a CORS Network. These corrections are necessary for the user to account for the atmospheric (ionospheric and tropospheric) delays and possibly orbit errors between his approximate location and the locations of the CORS Network stations. In order to provide the most precise c...
متن کاملPPP-RTK: Results of CORS Network-Based PPP with Integer Ambiguity Resolution
During the last decade the technique of CORS-based Network RTK has been proven capable of providing cm-level positioning accuracy for rovers receiving GNSS correction data from the CORS network. The technique relies on successful integer carrier-phase ambiguity resolution at both network and user level: at the level of the CORS network, ambiguity resolution is a prerequisite in order to determi...
متن کاملNetwork-based Geometry-Free Three Carrier Ambiguity Resolution and Phase Bias Calibration
Continuously operating reference stations (CORS) are increasingly used to deliver real-time and nearreal-time precise positioning services on a regional basis. A CORS network-based data processing system depends on two types of measurements: (1) ambiguity-resolved double-differenced (DD) phase measurements, and (2) phase bias calibrated zero-differenced (ZD) phase measurements. This paper descr...
متن کاملSpeeding Up CORS Network RTK Ambiguity Resolution
An efficient way for the real-time GNSS data processing of CORS stations is to make use of a Kalman filter implementation. Using dual-frequency un-differenced carrier phase and code data as observations, the state vector consists of troposphere zenith delays, differential ionosphere delays, receiver and satellite clock errors and phase ambiguities. Satellite positions are computed in real time ...
